When Should I Get Towed?
You should be getting towed when a repair cannot be undergone from the side of the road safely. For example, if you’ve broken down on the side of a busy highway, it wouldn’t be safe to perform any large-scale repairs as it would put both you and our operators at risk. Rather than risk everyone’s safety, we’d tow you to our shop, where we can get the repair done in-house. It takes a lot more hassle to move a semi-truck, but at the end of the day, your safety is more important than getting a job done as fast as possible.
When Should I Request Roadside Assistance?
You should request roadside assistance when you’re breakdown is something that could potentially be fixed from the side of the road in a safe manner. For example, if you have a busted radiator fan, one of our technicians will come out and replace it for you fairly quickly. If it’s something more serious, like a blown head gasket or a bad clutch, we may suggest you get your truck towed to our shop.
